Extra 21 is an NGO that was created as a safe place to share and sustain the families that have a child with Down Syndrome.

The Break the Grid concept is based on the idea of the perfect/imperfect grid - a valid analogy for each individual.

We want to convey the fact that that extra element is actually an element of value.

On another note, we want to convey the fact that these situations are not isolated, and the people who are in this situation are not alone (grid + heart - seen as a unit / community)

Break the grid is about changing the perspective, coming up with solutions, about building a community with a common purpose.
